Company activitiesIntroduction to the Company: Huawei’s Belgium Research Center has several labs, each focusing on different research area. We are located in Ghent and Leuven and our research interests include Silicon Photonics, RFIC, Applied Networks, etc. Silicon Photonics Lab is a growing team of world leading photonics researchers and engineers active in Photonics Design, MEMS design, Processing and Testing. The team works in the State-of-the-art optical & electronics testing lab with the in-house computing cluster for design simulations. In the recent years a number of our products have been successfully brought to market in volume. Leuven RF IC design team is Huawei’s leading team for IC design for 5G and 6G wireless applications. Our mission is to bring innovation and to advance these state-of-the-art R&D results to competitive and high quality next generation products. We are offering excellent conditions and an interesting mixture of analog, RF, mm-wave, SOC and mixed-signal design. Applied Network Technology Research Lab is dedicated to the Fundamental Theory of Networks. The team works on emerging brain-inspired/neural-based computing machines for the solving nonlinear optimization problems together with the development and experimentation of novel computational methods and algorithms. Applications range from automatic design to sequential decision processes for large-scale systems. We are looking for: Silicon Photonics Lab We are hiring photonics design engineers, highly motivated in the design of building blocks and integrated circuits targeted at product development, and next-generation photonics technology development. RFIC design We are hiring Analog, RF, mixed-signal and millimeter-wave design engineers. If IC design is fun for you and you are strongly motivated, you can become the next generation IC design specialist. We are looking forward to share our expertise such that you have excellent growth opportunity. Applied Network Technology Research Lab We are hiring applied mathematicians highly motivated in neural/brain-inspired computing or nonlinear/mixed-integer programming.
