Company activities

As an organisation with extensive and well‑established experience in foreign affairs, the FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation will draw on its expertise and knowledge of the international environment to defend Belgium’s interests abroad, promote the emergence of a more stable, just and prosperous world, and combat poverty. Our FPS considers the provision of assistance to Belgian nationals abroad as one of its core responsibilities. In coordination and consultation with partner organisations that are also active abroad, the FPS will continuously promote coherence in the actions undertaken by our federal state at the international level.
