In the run-up to the live interuniversity Job Market for Young Researchers (Flanders Expo Ghent, 26 March (1 pm - 7 pm)), online Career Lunches are hosted every Tuesday and Thursday between 5 February and 19 March. Between 12 pm and 1 pm companies/organisations will introduce themselves and will happily answer any questions you may have. Please find below a preliminary (!) overview of the online Career Lunches. Stay tuned for updates!
On Thursday 12 March CV analysis will be offered online between 12 pm and 7 pm. It will be possible to make appointments with CV reviewers as of Monday 2 February, after registration for the Job Market. Sign up for CV analysis and come to the fair well-prepared!

One week before the live interuniversity Job Market for Young Researchers, this online Career Lunch will help participants walk into the fair with a clear plan and confidence. In 60 minutes, we will cover: how to research employers and identify key target companies; how to update and adapt your CV and LinkedIn profile for non-academic roles; how to craft an effective 30-second pitch that links your research to employers’ needs; do’s and don’ts for approaching recruiters during the fair; and practical tips for note-taking and following up afterwards. The session will be highly practical, with concrete examples, quick check lists and time for questions.
